So true, i have tested cloudflare and able to see so many messages “WTF” “Let me in” by my visitors who blocked by cloudflare network. The security is perfect, but blocking the entire network users is kind of tough in traffic obtaining.

Thanks for the reply. I took a guess that would be the setting. My client has been happy with Cloudflare but wanted to see if we could get a little more extra with a CDN as well. Think we will try them both out for a little while and see what the results are.

I would leave the caching turned off for the CDN CNAME record so your media content, stylesheets and scripts aren’t cached and served from CloudFlare. MaxCDN caches the items anyway so you should leave it to them. CloudFlare was actually quite unreliable for me due to it’s numerous crashes, hacks and downtime, it does have good security features but some real people were actually being blocked from the site which wasn’t helpful at all.

Just wondering how you setup Cloudflare and MaxCDN. I have a client that is interested in this setup and I was wondering if you turn the Cloudflare caching on the MaxCDN cname record or did you leave it off?

Forever I watch over your website to review updates as a long lost friend. From being at school and first watching you use Dreamweaver and Flash 8, honestly, you’ve gone far.
